Community & Environment Policy (Summary)

This policy is provided as an easy-to-read summary of the relevant provisions of the SpeakJP Terms of Service. The Terms of Service remain the governing document.

These rules apply to all SpeakJP services.

SpeakJP is designed to provide a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment where you can learn Japanese and communicate with others.

We encourage respectful interaction and natural connections among participants.

However, any behavior that disrupts a safe and comfortable environment, or causes discomfort to other participants or the host, is not allowed.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Unwanted or excessive personal or romantic advances
Abusive, offensive, or harassing behavior, including insults or inappropriate language

These rules apply not only between participants, but also to interactions directed toward the host.

To maintain a safe and comfortable environment, we reserve the right to restrict or remove any user from any SpeakJP service at our sole discretion, without prior notice. No refunds will be issued in such cases.
